Description:
- Maintenance
and Troubleshooting: Overseeing the maintenance, repair, and
troubleshooting of electrical equipment and machinery, including wire
drawing machines, stranding machines, and other manufacturing equipment.
Regularly inspecting and conducting preventive maintenance to minimize
downtime and maximize productivity.
- Electrical
System Design and Installation: Collaborating with the engineering team to
design and install electrical systems for new machinery and equipment.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and industry
best practices.
- Team
Management: Leading and supervising a team of electrical technicians and
engineers. Assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance
evaluations to ensure the team's effectiveness and efficiency.
- Budgeting
and Cost Control: Preparing and managing the departmental budget for
electrical maintenance and projects. Monitoring expenses and finding
cost-effective solutions without compromising safety or quality.
- Safety
and Compliance: Ensuring that all electrical systems, processes, and
installations adhere to safety guidelines and electrical codes.
Implementing safety training programs for employees and promoting a
safety-conscious culture throughout the organization.
- Continuous
Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements,
efficiency enhancements, and technological upgrades in the electrical
department. Implementing best practices and modern technologies to
optimize production processes.
- Coordination
and Communication: Collaborating with other departments, such as
production, engineering, and quality control, to streamline processes and
resolve electrical-related issues that may impact production schedules.
- Regulatory
Compliance: Staying updated with relevant electrical regulations, codes,
and standards to ensure the company's compliance with all legal
requirements.
- Emergency
Response: Developing and implementing contingency plans for electrical
emergencies, such as power outages or equipment failures, to minimize
disruptions to production.
- Record
Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of electrical maintenance
activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
